Madhura Deepak Mukadam is Professor and Head Department of Zoology in GogateJogalekar College, Ratnagiri. She has teaching experience of nineteen years. Earlier, she has worked in Fisheries College, Ratnagiri as a Senior Research Fellow in one research project for three years.She completed her graduation and post-graduation in the subject of Zoology from Shivaji University, Kolhapur. She has also done Bachelor of Education, qualified for the SET exam in Life Sciences and completed her PhD in Toxicology in the year 2012. She is passionate about teaching and research. Her areas of interest include toxicology, biodiversity, marine biology, and aquaculture. She has completed three minor research projects and one major research project funded by the Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services, Hyderabad. She has published about 40 research papers in various reputed national and international journals and written four books related to Toxicology. Presently, she is working as a coordinator of Nature club and Women Development Cell (WDC) in her college. She is continuously working for inculcating the value of Nature and Biodiversity conservation among her students and society.
